In 2012, Toronto artist Cybèle Young and Groundwood Books invited us to host an art activity celebrating the release of A Few Bites. The event began with the book’s debut at Type on Queen West and continued with an art activity and celebration at the Wychwood Barns. We organized a torn-paper collage activity where kids could create their own booklets inspired by A Few Bites. Over 60 families joined us, creating a beautiful memory that celebrated not only Cybèle enchanting book but also the power of community and support through collaborative art.
