Saturdays: 3-4yrs • 9-10am  Kinder’s Only

Saturdays: 5-9yrs • 10:30-12 noon  (divided in groups by age)

Saturdays: 7-13yrs • 1-2:30 pm (divided in groups by age)

Sundays: 4-7yrs • 9:30-11 am (divided in groups by age)

Sundays: 7-9yrs•11:30-1:00pm 

NOTE: No Saturday/Sunday classes on holidays May 16-17

Class Descriptions: Our Art Focus class for kids aged 4 to 13 offers an exciting mix of printmaking, sculpture, drawing, clay (handbuilding) and painting. Each session balances open-ended projects that encourage creativity with lessons exploring traditional technical techniques. Young artists will have the opportunity to experiment with different materials and approaches, building their skills while expressing their unique artistic vision!

Our Kinder Art class is a joyful, experimental, and playful creative experience designed especially for children ages 3 and 4. This is a drop-off class for children who are ready, offering a gentle introduction to independent learning in a supportive studio environment. Through hands-on exploration of shapes, texture, and simple storytelling, young artists are encouraged to follow their curiosity and engage their senses. Each class invites children to experiment with materials, build confidence, and express ideas through art-making that values imagination and process over final outcomes—perfect for nurturing creativity at this early and important stage of development.

Illustration & Fine Drawing

Thursdays: 9-13yrs • 6-7:30 pm • 8 Weeks starts on April 16th

Class Description: Our Illustration and Fine Drawing class for kids aged 9 to 12 focuses on building foundational drawing skills while encouraging creative expression. In this class, young artists will explore a variety of drawing techniques, from basic line work to more advanced shading and perspective. They’ll experiment with different tools like graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and ink to bring their illustrations to life. Lessons will also cover character design, storytelling through art, and how to draw from observation and imagination. This class aims to inspire confidence, enhance visual storytelling skills, and deepen each child’s passion for art in a supportive, engaging environment.

Clay Class! Handbuilding

Mondays & Thursdays: 8-13yrs • 6-7:30 pm • 8 Weeks starts April 20 &23      Mondays: 4-7yrs • 4:15-5:45  • 8 Weeks starts April 20

Join us for a fun and creative Clay Handbuilding class designed for kids aged 4-13yra In this hands-on class, young artists will explore the magic of working with Cone 6 fired porcelain clay, learning basic handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling, slab building, scoring and slipping, texturing, and carving. They will also create 3D projects and learn how to use molds to craft items like dishes, bowls, masks, and sculptures.

We’ll delve into both historical and contemporary handbuilt pottery and sculpture, exploring the works of artists who excel in this medium. With guided instruction and plenty of room for imagination, children will shape, sculpt, and bring their ideas to life. This class encourages creativity through playful, tactile projects. All materials are provided, so all they need to bring is their enthusiasm! Perfect for budding artists and kids who love to get their hands messy!

Cartooning! 

Wednesday: 8-12 yrs • 6-7:30 pm • Starts April 15th

This engaging 8-week Cartooning Class invites young artists aged 8–12 to explore the exciting world of human-centered drawing. Students will learn how to create expressive cartoon characters by studying facial expressions, body movement, and storytelling through images. Each class includes clear instruction in cartooning techniques—such as character design, gesture drawing, and visual storytelling—followed by plenty of time for self-directed drawing and individual guidance. With a strong emphasis on creativity and personal style, students receive one-to-one support as they develop their ideas, build confidence in their drawing skills, and bring their own unique characters to life in a relaxed and encouraging studio environment.
